Thierry Hauet, Ph.D. is a Specialist of Ischeamia-reperfusion syndrom. Pr. Hauet is a scientific Member of the Laboratory. Pr. Hauet is also appointed as expert for AFSSAPS (French agency for the sanitary safety of health products) in order to evaluate the products for organ perfusion.

Professor Raphael Thuillier works at the University of Poitiers with a strong background in Biochemistry, Nephrology, Transplantation and Ischemia reperfusion injury. His interests include the impact of injuries occurring during the preservation on the fate of the graft, both with a short-term as well as long-term perspective. Furthermore, his research focuses on new technologies to improve organ preservation of therefore improve their quality before transplant. Within COPE, Raphael worked on the experimental liver and kidney perfusion programmes.

This project has received funding from the European Union's 7th Framework Programme for research, technological development and demonstration under grant agreement 305934.
