OrganOx team

Dr Les Russell is the CEO of OrganOx and has been involved in design, development and marketing of new medical devices, product launches, sales and marketing, general management, and implementation of medical devices in clinical investigations. Within COPE, he oversaw the operation and management of OrganOx during the timescale for the project and provided training and support for the use of the normothermic liver perfusion device in our liver trial.

Andy Self is Director of Business Development at OrganOx and has previously worked in various scientific, project management and business development roles. Andy then spent 5 years at Isis Innovation, the technology transfer company for the University of Oxford, managing the commercialisation of intellectual property developed at the University. Andy joined OrganOx in February 2014. Within COPE, he supported   the OrganOx involvement in the liver trial.
